Medialab-Prado has put out a call for collaborators for the upcoming 17-day Interactivos10 seminar being held in Madrid from June 7 – 23. Collaborators will receive free lodging in a youth hostel, and there is no registration fee. The registration deadline is June 4.

A number of interesting environmental and community oriented projects were selected earlier this year. These projects will be further developed by participants (collaborators), who are free to get involved in as many as they’d like, or as they are able in the given time. With most days scheduled for 10 hours of work, this promises to be an intensive 2+ weeks.

This event is focused on the development of 10 selected projects that put into action collaboration and local urban knowledge networks using free software and hardware technologies as well as Do It Yourself (DIY) and Do It With Others (DIWO) methods.

According to its field of interest, each collaborator can be part of any team, bringing his/her knowledge and ideas to the workgroup and, at the same time, learning from the group and the teachers.
